DuPont Water Solutions has released an updated version of its WAVE PRO water treatment system design software, now featuring integration with DuPont™ AmberLite™ ion exchange resins. This new functionality enables users to model and design water treatment solutions with greater precision.
“WAVE PRO users can now run high-accuracy simulations of Ultrafiltration (UF) and ion exchange resin water treatment solutions,” said Gary Gu, Global Technology Leader at DuPont Water Solutions. “With access to validated proprietary models, users can quickly evaluate multiple scenarios—including multi-tech designs—to determine the most efficient configuration for their water treatment challenges.”
WAVE PRO is the next-generation cloud-based successor to DuPont’s pioneering Water Application Value Engine (WAVE) platform. Offered free of charge, the software provides access to advanced proprietary water treatment models that have been developed and validated over more than 30 years, with results referenced in over 100 scientific journals.
Designed with a simple and intuitive user interface, WAVE PRO supports collaboration by enabling secure cloud-based sharing with multiple project partners, eliminating version control issues. It also allows users to generate and export detailed reports and diagrams for distribution across project teams.
The platform includes an extensive library of feedwater configurations, built from real-world datasets across DuPont’s global research centres. With customisable modelling parameters, users can simulate site-specific water treatment processes, evaluate alternative designs, and incorporate economic factors to optimise operating costs and system efficiency.
WAVE PRO is available through the DuPont WaterApp suite, which provides a broad range of resources to support water professionals, from membrane optimisation to ion exchange resin planning.
